Hi, nice to meet you!
My name’s Álvaro Rodríguez, I was born in Madrid at the very end of 1978.
Since I was a child I’ve been in love with cinema, animation, videogames, comic books and literature, which probably led me to study my degree in advertising and public relations oriented to audiovisual production. I entered the motion graphics world by mixing my skills in Flash animation and Premiere editing, just to quickly get into After Effects.
After 4 years working in the digital signage sector in Spain I went to Copenhagen with an intership in Frame.
Back in Madrid I worked in the motion graphics department of GMR Marketing and in Red Penguin, a motion design oriented studio in the north of Madrid.
Currently I’m working as a freelance, based in Madrid and available for remote or presential work. Feel free to contact me to talk about work, movies, photography, beers… or whatever comes to mind.
