I started as a Project Engineer in the electrical department in the first company I worked for, GEA Process Engineering.
The first four years performing a wide range of tasks such as carrying out calculations in the engineering phase; designing of electrical drawings and electrical cabinets (power and control); purchasing of materials; planning of shipments trying to optimize the cost of the shipment without affecting the planning of the project; supervision of the installation on site in the commissioning phase, being responsible of the setup company (up to 30 people) and supporting the project team in the dry test of the equipment (motors, valves, instrumentation, etc.); revision of final documentation .
After this time in the electrical department, I moved to the automation department to
work as a programmer. Programming processes (TIA Portal, Siemens) related to milk
industry: unloading, CIP, pasteurization, etc. Designing of SCADA (Comfort Panel, WinCC, Siemens). Supporting in the FAT with customer. Server installation. Dry test, commissioning and testing of the programs on site. All the projects I have carried out in this first company, were done in an international environment where English was the language used to communicate.
After this period of six years in GEA I moved to Tetra Pak, the company I am currently
working for as Early Management Pillar leader (TPM methodology) at its packaging factory. Among my tasks are the control and tracking of all new projects in the factory and preparing and executing investment plan according to the different factory needs. Other important area where I am supporting the factory is in the processes digitalization, developing loss intelligence activities to help the company to improve the efficiency. I am getting experience on the printing sector as a part of maintenance and projects department. I am specializing on project management from business case preparation to its execution and follow up after installation.
