I am a 2015 MBA alumni at London Business School and I have 10 years of experience, including 5 years working at online companies leading internal strategy consultant/analytics/Insights teams (4 years at HomeAway.com and 1 year at WiZink bank) and 3 years working as a Senior Strategy Consultant at KPMG.
Since I finished my MBA studies I have been working as an analytics / strategy Consultant for HomeAway.com and Wizink.es. I joined HomeAway.com as an analyst and within one year I was promoted to manager, leading an international team of 7 people (some of them very senior and coordinating other junior members) to deliver analysis and strategic recommendations to Brand and Integrated Marketing globally, supporting more than 100 people. At HomeAway I have acquired a solid knowledge of online marketplaces, but most importantly I have learnt to manage a team by listening, delegating and being agile. Each project has represented opportunity for growth and ownership. For example, I estimated the $ value of acquisition campaigns to prioritize initiatives and A/B tests according to their effort and ROI resulting in a 5% increase of cost allocation.
Before my MBA studies, I worked as an Strategy Consultant with KPMG where I developed very strong analytical and communication skills while working for several industries and projects, such as the launch of a new direct channel for an important insurance company by developing an analytical model to evaluate the new channel. Furthermore, I enjoyed the challenge of managing teams such as the 20 KPMG within a project.
I am very hard working, focus and driven, being able to prioritize logically according to business needs. I am passionate about changing the world. I am a very fast learner and I adapt quickly to different situations. Last, but not least, I am passionate about organizing and developing plans, not only in working circumstances but also in social events, juggling it with my job responsibilities.
