Nico Liberato Candio

I’m a senior system engineer and Linux developer , with passion for cloud and containers technology , Linux kernel tuning and customisation, real time applications development. After my active contribution to cross layer research for satellite TCP/IP communications ( in particular working with the team developing the TCP-Hybla module , a network module for improving communications in satellite networks and included as experimental module in the Linux kernel), I moved forward in my career being consultant and contractor for many companies and in different places in Europe (in particular Germany, Italy, Spain and Belgium). The opportunity to work for different teams and in many places gave me the unique gift to develop a strong flexibility and a real capacity to work under pressure : not last, the skill to met requirements and adapt and fit quickly with most complex software environments and challenges. Despite my extensive experience as Linux developer and system engineer in many big and small companies, I love to think myself as a researcher, willing preserve my “day-one” freshness : an open minded approach to problem solving, enthusiasm and passion for technology and processes, eager to play with "on-edge" ways to do things. My next career goals are to be challenged as Technical Lead \ Product Manager \ Business Developer and I have preference for the new challenges in the area of embedded systems, IoT, virtualization technologies (containers, hypervisors, contanerisation technologies); I prefer also to develop my carrer in sectors such as automotive, energy , trasportation and space. More in detail, I'm interested on working with international teams and agile working environments with main focus on brand new technologies and that can challenge my problem solving skills day by day.
