Xavi Lopez Ponte

Who am I?

This is Xavi, from Barcelona but currently living in Madrid. This year I have been studying a Master Degree in Operations and Supply Chain in China (Suzhou) at Liverpool University for a year. Formerly, I studied a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering but once I finished it I started working as a SAP Logistics Consultant. I would say that being a Consultant is not easy and also very challenging (that is the reason why I like it), you have to bear in mind that everything you modify, design or improve have a major impact on the customer and user's experience, but it is very rewarding when you notice that they are very satisfied with the work you have done. Furthermore, it gives me the opportunity to travel abroad and meet new colleagues and friends.

What to say about me? Well, I believe that reaching personal goals is important, and when I reach 30 years old I would like to have a fluent Chinese level. Also, another of my passions is to travel as much as I can, but helping and staying in touch with the culture aswell, therefore I had some volunteering experiences in Guatemala, South Korea or Uganda where I enjoyed myself a lot.
