As Firmware Development Lead, I am responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from requirement analysis to final implementation. My key responsibilities included: Analyzing technical and functional requirements to develop firmware solutions. Designing and defining system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and efficiency. Creating detailed designs to ensure robust and efficient implementation. Coding and developing firmware. Testing and validating software to ensure quality and compliance with requirements. Analyzing and diagnosing hardware and mechanical to identify potential areas for improvement and ensure compatibility. Managing risks associated with firmware and implementing effective strategies for mitigation.

Firmware and software developer being part of the command and control business unit at Ficosa located in Viladecavalls, Barcelona. In this business unit we develop shifter, control cables, styling parts, isolating elements, and gearbox… I am working with the Firmware and Software team developing the system functionality integrated in the ECU. We are working basically with Renessa and NXP microcontrollers. Overall, my day a day in Ficosa is developing the firmware and software (using C language) according the customer specification following the automotive industry process specifications too.

I worked as a consultant at HP. My main role was the design and implementation of part of the 3D printer software.
