I am a sustainability consultant with over 18 years of experience specialising in GHG accounting, climage change consulting, circular economy assessment, and EU project management. My work sits at the intersection of technical expertise and project delivery - helping organisations and municipalities understand, measure, and reduce their climate impact while navigating complex funding landscapes.

On the GHG accounting and verification side, I have led emissions accounting processes for corporate groups (Scope 1, 2 and 3) following the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1, and provided technical support for carbon footprint calculation software development.

In circular economy, I have been part of the H2020 CityLoops project - one of Europe's flagship urban circularity initiatives - where I contributed to circularity analysis of the Porto cluster across the biomass sector. I also lead circular economy assessments for businesses, applying frameworks aligned with international standards and Ellen MacArthur Foundation principles.

My climate change consulting experience includes the development of Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Plans for four municipalities in the Porto metropolitan area (Maia, Matosinhos, Trofa, and Valongo), as well as climate risk studies and climate impact analyses for both public and private sector clients.

As an EU project manager, I have a strong track record in securing and managing European funding, achieving a 55% success rate across H2020, EEA Grants, LIFE, Interreg, and Portugal 2030 applications, and managing a portfolio exceeding €7.5 million in funded projects. I ensure technical and financial compliance throughout project lifecycles, in line with funding programmes requisites.

I hold a Master's degree in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of Porto and have worked across Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Czech Republic, and the UK.
