Recent work includes a predictive modeling PoC for a major South American oil & gas operator, processing 851 wells across 30+ injection patterns, with machine learning validation results up to R² 0.91 and Monte Carlo economic analysis using a 17% IRR cutoff.

Built and operated an independent consulting practice in Calgary, serving energy and business clients with data science, Power BI, Python automation and analytics solutions.

Delivered dashboards, reporting workflows, data cleaning pipelines, analytical models and decision-support tools for technical and management teams. Work included production and operational analytics, automated reporting, KPI design and performance analysis.

Helped clients save hundreds of man-hours per month through reporting automation. Identified field efficiency opportunities worth hundreds of thousands of dollars through analysis of operational data.

My key value during this period was bridging the gap between data, operations and decision-making: understanding the technical context behind the data, translating it into reliable analytics, and turning the results into practical recommendations.

This period established the consulting foundation that I now continue from Madrid for European, Canadian and Latin American clients.

Worked on data cleaning, Power Query transformations, DAX measures, data model design, KPI definition and automation of repetitive reporting tasks. Focused on making dashboards reliable, secure, understandable and useful for management decisions. Crafted data models that allowed seamless slicing and dicing of data to obtain maximum insight.
