Provided technical input for the DRREALL-TA Project, aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness and improving infrastructure standards in the Philippines:

•Reviewed evacuation center guidelanes and standards focusing on gender-responsive, socially inclusive, climate and disaster resilient, and public health-sensitive approaches.

•Assessed and revised two existing prototype designs to align with international humanitarian and protection best practices.

•Co-developed training materials and tools to support Local Government Units (LGUs) in assessing, upgrading, and managing evacuation facilities according to the revised standards.

• Managed Program Development Teams across Asia, Europe, and America to identify and assess potential International Recovery Projects.

• Provided technical assistance and strategic guidance in the program design planning, and budget development, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and donor expectations.

• Guided teams in conducting technical feasibility studies, developing needs assessment documents, performing SWOT analysis, and analyzing outcomes of in-country assessments.

• Provided expertise in cost estimation, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure the efficient and sustainable use of resources.

• Coordinated with the Technical Department to ensure all construction designs adhere to disaster resilience standards and Sphere standards.

• Coordinated and collaborated with the Health and Safety Advisor to review risk management systems, emergency procedures, contingency plans and safety and security protocols.

• Developed new tools and provided training programs to build the capacity of program development staff.

• Designed and implemented monitoring and evaluation strategies and tools to measure the effectiveness of project teams and program proposals, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.

• Led the establishment of in-country operations for Typhoon Odette response, managing and coordinating teams.

• Conducted needs assessments, site selection, and feasibility studies for technical viability. Participated in Education and WASH Clusters to ensure emergency response coordination. Designed and planned Recovery program proposals, including scopes, work plans, and technical specifications.

• Provided technical guidance through desk research on building codes, construction methods, market costs and developing project approval summaries.

• Prepared scopes of work, detailed work plans, bills of quantities, cost estimations, and labor cost summaries for new programs.

• Supervised the development of emergency procedures, safety protocols, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.

• Secured funding and built strong donor relationships, including with UNICEF, to support programs and ensure financial sustainability.

• Organized DRR and WASH initiatives and community training to ensure compliance with international standards, promote sustainability, and implement measurable monitoring and evaluation indicators.

• Collected and integrated best practices and lessons learned to improve program effectiveness and efficiency, contributing to organizational development.

• Oversaw project staffing and resource allocation for effective program execution and team management.
