I currently work as a Tech Lead at L.L.Bean, where I lead and oversee a team of data engineers with the goal of ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability across all our projects. My role is focused on designing and proposing continuous improvements to the company’s data infrastructure on Google Cloud, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and building robust, resilient solutions. On a daily basis, I develop and maintain ingestion pipelines that orchestrate and transform large volumes of data using Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Dataform, while leveraging BigQuery as our main Data Warehouse. In addition, we manage

our infrastructure with an infrastructure-as-code approach through Terraform, which provides us with security, scalability, and consistency in our cloud deployments. All of this work is integrated into a collaborative development workflow using GitHub, ensuring best practices, traceability, and efficiency in code management.

Worked as a Tech Lead and Senior Data Engineer, leading both technical development and client management. I have developed solutions primarily using Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, GCP Workflows and Dataform, actively contributing to data warehouse architecture design, data governance with Dataplex, and complex data transformations. I was responsible for all U.S. clients—leading meetings, offering technical solutions, resolving incidents, and supporting the

company’s platforms. I’ve also developed AI solutions using BigQueryML and Vertex AI and carried out major optimizations in Dataform architecture and execution, resulting in a 70% monthly cost reduction for U.S. client projects. As Tech Lead, I supervised a team of five Data Engineers who relied on me as their technical reference. Beyond U.S. projects, I’ve also contributed improvements and optimizations for other geographies thanks to my global understanding of the tech stack and my transversal role within the team.

Worked on a wide range of projects within the Google Cloud ecosystem. This included ETL processes and data ingestion using Cloud Functions, Dataflow, and Dataform, as well as building cloud-based AI solutions using Document AI,

Speech-to-Text, Contact Center AI, Vision AI, and Vertex AI. I have also worked extensively on data warehouse development in BigQuery, data modeling, and BI dashboard creation with Looker.

Within Document AI, I led projects involving OCR-based text and layout extraction, key-value pair identification, table extraction, document classification, segmentation, and automatic summarization. In addition I have experience with several complementary services: Cloud Functions / Cloud Run for orchestrating and post-processing document pipelines, Cloud Storage for managing documents and files, BigQuery for storing and transforming extracted data, Vision AI used in specific OCR scenarios with vertical or complex text layouts, Cloud Translation API for automatic content translation, Vertex AI Search & Conversation and Dialogflow for building intelligent chatbots and agents connected to document-based knowledge and conversation flows, and Contact Center AI Insights for sentiment analysis and topic modeling on voice and chat interactions. I’ve also worked with other GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Workflows, Vertex AI, Dataform, and Dataplex.
