Procurement Category Manager in Logistics Belonging to EMIA procurement team main responsibilities of this position consists in defining the strategy, leading the sourcing processes planned, executing negotiations, taking care of suppliers´ management relationship, and ensuring and following up contracts’ compliance for all the goods and services in logistics & material handling equipment (MHE). Subcategories: Full truck load (FTL), sea freight & intermodal (SFI), overseas (FCL), customs brokers, truncking, special transport…), logistics services & MHE (Racks, Labels, warehousing…). Spend dimension: 75-100 M€. Achievements: >4M€ savings leading different tenders processes (FTL, SFI, Labels, MHE…) meeting stakeholders’ needs, leveraging the bargaining power and reducing number of suppliers.
