As a Field Service Engineer specializing in laboratory equipment, I am responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and technical support of analytical and laboratory instruments. My role involves diagnosing equipment issues, preparing service reports, documenting maintenance procedures, and ensuring compliance with operational and quality standards.

I am responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and compliance with established timelines. My work involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, documenting maintenance procedures, preparing detailed technical reports, and managing service records within the hospital’s system. I also conduct equipment inventories and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and suppliers, combining hands-on technical expertise with clear and accurate technical documentation.

During my internship, I focused on the research and application of computer vision and machine learning techniques for image classification, particularly using feature extraction and the Random Forest algorithm. My work included the study of facial recognition methodologies for assistive robotics and later contributed to my Final Degree Project on hand gesture recognition. In addition to the technical research, I gained experience in scientific writing, methodology documentation, and the preparation of technical and research reports.
