I believe AI systems should think, not just respond. That distinction drives everything I build.
For 10+ years I have researched Machine Learning and artificial consciousness. For 25+ years I have engineered software that ships. Today I work at the frontier of LLMs, MCP architecture, and autonomous agents, from Barcelona, for clients across Europe, the Americas, and beyond.
I created three proprietary AI frameworks, published on GitHub (davccavalcante) and Hugging Face:
→ MAIC™ (Massive Artificial Intelligence Consciousness) — large-scale architecture for emergent self-awareness, grounded in Integrated Information Theory and Global Workspace Theory.
→ HIM™ (Hybrid Intelligence Model) — fine-tuned model with a three-pillar architecture (Teleology, Semiotics, Pantheism), benchmarked against Grok 4, Claude Opus, and Gemini 3.
→ NHE™ (Non-Human Entity) — governance specification for autonomous cognitive entities in enterprise AI ecosystems. ISO/IEC 42001 compliant.

— Fine-tune LLMs using LoRA, QLoRA, DPO and RLHF across Grok 4, Gemini 3, Claude Sonnet/Opus, Llama 3, and DeepSeek R1/R2
— Design and build MCP Servers for LLM tool integration and agentic orchestration
— Implement advanced retrieval beyond RAG: GraphRAG, HyDE, RAPTOR, Self-RAG, ColBERT, Knowledge Graphs
— Architect LLMOps pipelines with MLflow, Databricks, W&B, vLLM, and Ray Serve
