My workflow covers the full lifecycle: component libraries in Figma with Variables and auto-layout, React and TypeScript implementation, Storybook as the single source of truth, multi-brand theming, and npm distribution. I also define the governance layer: contribution guidelines, versioning, design reviews, and adoption metrics, because a system only works if people actually use it right.

Accessibility is built in from the start, not added at the end. I apply WCAG 2.1 AA across every component: color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and focus management.

Lately I've been connecting design systems with AI workflows. Using MCP servers and Figma CLI, I link the system directly to AI agents that can modify components, update tokens, and publish new versions to npm. What used to take days now takes minutes.
