My name is Maria Fuentes and I studied translation since I have always been interested in learning languages and discovering how the world works according to each one of them. I am a perfectionist and a hard-working person; I do not stop until I am fully satisfied with my work. I am always willing to learn new languages and work with new projects and challenges.

My main goal is to make your life simpler by making easier the translation process.

Some of my duties as a translator and proofreader are:

Translating and proofreading of texts from English and French into Spanish and Catalan, as well as between Spanish and Catalan

Ensuring quality and service always meet expectations

Reading material and researching industry-specific terminology

Converting the material into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning

Complying with relevant and applicable procedures

Performing quality checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, QA...)

Ensuring translated texts convey original meaning and tone
