Alvaro Castiñeira Soto

Product-minded Backend Developer focused on Java and data. I build and extend REST APIs with Java + Spring Boot, design SQL data models, and work mainly with PostgreSQL/MySQL. Comfortable with Git and Docker-based workflows, I care about clean, maintainable code and clear delivery.

Real company experience (FCT Internship – Galvintec, Vigo): worked in an Odoo 17 CE (ERP/POS) environment, developing business logic with Python (ORM) and PostgreSQL, plus JavaScript and XML views for operational UI/flows. Used Docker (Doodba stack) and Git, delivered iteratively, and supported real POS operations (multi-store flows, location-based stock).
