Member of the product team building an operational management platform for fire departments

in Spain. I work on the backend and architecture, ensuring the system can evolve with the

complex needs of firefighters and emergency operations.

- Design and implementation of backend services in Python + FastAPI, applying hexagonal

architecture, DDD, CQRS and event-driven patterns over RabbitMQ.

- Work closely with product managers, UX designers and firefighters to understand

operational needs and turn them into well-scoped user stories and tasks with clear

acceptance criteria.

- Take part in backlog refinement and sprint planning, using example-driven discussions to

align domain experts and engineers on expected behaviour before implementation.

- Contribute to the definition of new features (incidents, shifts, resource allocation) and

their impact on the domain and boundaries between services.

- Apply TDD with pytest and integration tests.

- Work extensively in pair programming, which has reduced friction in code reviews and

helped the team more than double the pace of delivering production-ready changes.

Member of the development team specialising in the design and implementation of backend solutions. Design, development and maintenance of Rest APIs, distributed systems and infrastructure optimisation.

Main points:

- I contributed to the transition from a monolithic system to an event-driven architecture, improving performance and the system's ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

- I designed a real-time tracking system capable of processing more than 20,000 requests per second, using Kafka and S3 storage. This system enabled use cases such as real-time statistics dashboards by processing real-time events using the Tinybird tool.

- I promoted the implementation of hexagonal architecture in new microservices, creating highly testable, reliable and maintainable systems that fit the product needs.

- I managed and optimised the AWS infrastructure, using Redis for caching and integrating CDNs to ensure stable performance in high concurrency events.

- I managed the deployment and configuration of microservices CI/CD pipelines, ensuring their stability and availability in production using Kubernetes.

While I was studying for my bachelor degree, I was part of the company’s development team (part-time). My role as a developer was to implement internal applications and scripts for use by other teams, such as the marketing team.

Main points:

- Creation of a control panel for the marketing team.

- Development of script for web scraping.

- Direct contact with the marketing team and experience with Facebook Ads and Google Ads APIs.

- We use Python and PHP, with Django and Symfony frameworks for the backend and Next for the frontend. Git as version control.
