Hey, what's up?
I'm Miguel de María, a freelance creative director from Madrid. I've been in the creative game for about 20 years now, working at a bunch of different agencies like Manifiesto Madrid, Burns, and DGC of Nintendo's in-house agency, as well as big multinationals like Leo Burnett, TBWA, and VCCP. I've worked on some awesome brands like PlayStation, McDonald's, Nintendo, Orange Telecom, Samsung, and Mercedes Benz, but also smaller local clients like Fundación Prodis, SCIFI Channel, Loterías del Estado, and Sitges Film Festival.
I've tackled all kinds of projects and media, from street campaigns to digital campaigns, spots to print, and my work has won over 80 awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, CLIO Awards, New York Festivals Awards, London Festival, FIAP, ADC*E, EL SOL, CDeC... I'm pretty proud of that!
Nowadays, I work as a freelance creative director and consultant, so I get to see a lot of different markets and their potential. What I really love about my job is working in a team, bouncing ideas off each other, and pushing each other to come up with something really cool. I'm good at coming up with ideas, finding insights, and translating a brand's strengths into something simple and attractive for the client. And I'm not just good at copywriting - I'm pretty handy with art direction too.
My biggest strengths are my passion for this work and my creative leadership. I always try to take things one step further, while still keeping the client's needs in mind.
Cheers!
