I am a curious person, with a great capacity for learning and a love of reading, sports and languages. I am also responsible, organized and committed.
I have been a scout since I was eight years old; I have enjoyed all the stages until I became a monitor, obtaining the title of leisure and free time monitor, and later Group Scout Leader at only 23 years old. This stage has undoubtedly made me evolve on a large scale.
Also since I was a child, I have been trying different sports, and finally I chose basketball, which has accompanied me all my life. For seven years I combined my studies and these two activities with my studies at the Music Conservatory.
Halfway through my university studies, I spent a year on Erasmus in Lille, in the north of France. I took advantage of this experience to learn the language and get to know the area.
After finishing my degree in Translation and Interpreting, I decided to do a Master's degree in teaching (foreign language: French), during which I learnt a great deal; and a Master's degree in audiovisual translation: Localization, subtitling and dubbing at the Instituto Superior de Traducción (ISTRAD), where I was able to get to know, enjoy and learn about this branch of translation that I am so passionate about.
I had the opportunity to do my internship for the Master's degree in translation at RoselJM Traducciones. Once I finished, I was lucky enough to enter the job market by taking part in a project at Transperfect and translating the Ibéricos Yebra website into French.
Now, after that first phase, I am actively looking for a job, ready for the next challenge, which I hope will be more related to the translation world, either as a freelance translator or as an in-house translator.
