Ricardo Alarcón Villalobos

Ricardo works in the Roche Diabetes Care IT team for the new Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) product launch.This is a critical project for Roche and involves multiple teams from all functional areas of the organization collaborating to bring the new product to the market. IT were required to support the product launch with multiple IT solutions across the whole end to end process. Ricardo is a Senior Scrum Master in the key areas of eCommerce and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This role involves being the main connection point from this important area into the main program that comprises about 20 IT agile teams. Ricardo exhibits excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. The CGM program was an agile initiative which required the IT team to also transform from classical waterfall delivery to agile ways of working. Ricardo was one of the catalysts to enable our team to transform to this new approach. He guided, mentored and collaborated with all our teams to ensure that the ambiguity of the new ways of working were clarified and also ensured that there was no impact on the delivery of the solutions. As a manager, I really appreciate the working relationship with Ricardo. I can trust him to deliver what is needed. His adaptability and drive as well as being a team player was outstanding and was much appreciated across the organization.
