● Managed development of new microservices from design to release and maintenance. In this company, their philosophy is that the developers own what they deliver (internally or publicly), which made me a point of contact for many projects there.

● Improved critical apps regarding task automation and payment verifications (3DSecure), with a roughly 20% increase in successful attempts, and to avoid common failure cases (e.g., not fault tolerance, incorrect parsing, etc.).

● Helped comply with PCI regulations for renewal of compliance certification, which is extremely important for the client's security/trust.

● Improved and monitored high-demand apps (e.g., search in large datasets, automated booking, etc.) in production, used by big clients and a massive number of users (over 1 million operations per minute).

● Helped build and maintain a mobile app for currency trading and payments/donations, backed by a blockchain network. I solved a critical issue that was holding back new deployments for the mobile app store, which would lead the company to lose opportunities in the market (and investors/stakeholders)

● Idealised and built a merchant panel with external integrations for targeted content promotion (i.e., dynamic content in the mobile app) and invoicing. This was crucial for the company to automate tasks that were previously done slowly by hand. This led them to increase their revenue in 25% the first month, with new and fast prospects

● Implemented critical security features (i.e., KYC, account verification, bot detection, etc.) in another unrelated project in the insurance industry

● NodeJS, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, MySQL, CI/CD, Monitoring, TDD/BDD

● Idealised and built a social media app, with geolocation features (activity tracking) and a rewards system. This included developing/idealising mobile apps, landing pages, backends, and their respective delivery pipelines (to app stores, hosting/cloud platforms).

● Developed a physical product called "PetTag" (integrated with the app) to keep users informed about their pet's location (similar to Apple's air tags, but with niched features within the platform ecosystem).

● Implemented a subscription-based system with more security and rewarding benefits to engage more users within the platform. This allowed us to retain more users and lure new ones that would found the benefits more than enough to engage with the platform/community.
