Acerca de Ali
Ali Attajer has a Ph.D. in automatic production and industrial engineering. He also holds an Engineering Degree in Industrial Engineering. His research interests are resilience in intelligent production systems.
He worked on several projects related to data science such as :
- Study and optimization of ship queuing: prediction of port availability, ship arrival law, optimization of port operations.
- Optimization model for vehicle routing and demand forecasting using machine learning.
- Gathering and cleaning of the data collected from the accelerometers from the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone using R.
- Creating a Shiny application and a web page presentation using R Markdown that features a plot created with Plotly and hosting the webpage on either GitHub Pages, RPubs, or NeoCities.
- Creating prediction algorithm and Shiny app in a way that would be understandable to a non data scientist manager.
- Building a smart keyboard that makes it easier for people to type on their mobile devices. One cornerstone of their smart keyboard is predictive text models using the data collected by SwiftKey.
