Vicente Marcos López Abad

Translation, transcreation, product naming, copywriting (ES-EN). I have expertise in the humanities (I have PhD in Spanish), technical writing (I worked as a technical writer at Roche Diagnostics), cosmetic marketing (I was a translator and copywriter at Sesderma) and anything involving communication (I am a journalist after all, at heart), but I am open to new challenges and have a knack for improv.

Regarding my academic background, I am an educator, translator, Fulbright Alumnus, Kohler Alumnus at the Wisconsin-Institute for Discovery and Ph.D. of Spanish Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a minor in Creative Writing, where I was a Teaching Assistant from 2009 to 2014. I am also a graduate of the M.Sc. in Comparative & General Literature at the University of Edinburgh and have a B.A. in Journalism from the Universidad Cardenal Herrera CEU, in Spain.
