Ingeniero informático, data scientist y emprendedor.
Me gradué en ingeniería informática por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) y también cursé un Máster de Innovación y investigación con la especialidad de Data Science, también en la UPC.
Desde niño he sido un apasionado de la tecnología y dicha pasión se acrecentó cuándo empezé mis estudios. Me apasiona el desarrollo de software, la inteligencia artifical, el análisis de datos y la consultoría.
He tenido la oportunidad de trabajar en diferentes empresas del sector, desde Everis, una de las consultoras IT más importantes a nivel nacional a inLab FIB un laboratorio de innovación e investigación de la UPC y con diferentes start-ups.
En 2019 decido crear mi propia empresa, dado mi profundo interés en las nuevas tendencias del sector, donde actualmente asesoro y desarrollo para diferentes empresas y startups.

I am a freelance computer engineer and data scientist.
I hold a Computer Engineering degree and a Master in Research and Innovation in Informatics with the specialty of Data Science at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
I have been able to develop myself working on different types of companies. I worked in Everis which is one of the most important consulting firms in Spain and I also worked as a researcher in the UPC. In addition to this experience, I worked as a data-scientist for different start-ups.

- BitpandaData EngineerHIGH TECHfebrero de 2023 - Hoy (1 año y 9 meses)Barcelona, CT, España- Led the implementation and adoption of dbt in Bitpanda, impacting several teams within the company. By the end of Q2 2024 4 teams have dbt on their toolkit, empowering them to create their own data models owning their own data.- Coached 3+ team members and managed 1 intern. Reduced the time to create the fifth MR from 6 weeks to 3 weeks.- Created +50 ingestion jobs that run in a daily or hourly basis fetching data to Bitpanda's data lake from internal and external sources.- Oversaw the implementation of new practices that improved reliability and observability of the data platform (secret isolation in astronomer, masking policies in terraform, etc)- Contributed to the first AI products of Bitpanda attending the Bitpanda Hackathon on June of 2023. I have been managing Ricard for almost 2 years at Goin. It has been a real pleasure to work with such a dedicated and enthusiastic person and professional. I really learned a lot from him: from his deep technical skills to his ability to adaptively communicate to stakeholders.
During this time Ricard has been leading initiatives in data ETLs, building data pipelines from scratch and a data API that is being used by our Product team to improve the experience of our users in the app. I thank him for that, recommend working with him to anyone interested and remain excited to see what he does in the future!
